A point of note with  regards to the parentage of William 1795 which is unproven. On the 6th June 1720 Jane Wrightson married Nathaniell Dunn in the Parish of Ripon. The Dunn name is noticed again with Wm & Rachel, they had a Daughter Mary Dunn Wrightson.

William Wrightson [parents ?] of Ripon? born 1795, died 22nd Sept 1841 Yorkshire, England. aged 46

• MARRIAGE: 22nd Feb 1824
• Notes : There is some confusion here because in the Ripon register is a marriage between Wm. & Jane Gill
• there are no descendants so I have assumed that the name of Jane was a mistake as Hannah had sister Jane
• William died in Bishop Monkton - Witness on William's Death Cert is Ellen Wrightson - This gives some basis to considering that Ellen was a relation to William. The only Ellen I can find is Ellen Rudd married to Joseph Wrightson could this Joseph  be William's father? Martha being his Mother (1st Wife of Joseph)?

• The Perkin's family had a nautical History, serving on the Victory
• Maria's Father was a Tobacco Importer, who lived in Liverpool
• I have found a Charles Perkins of Everton Liverpool b 1867 occupation Tobacco Carter in 1901 Census
• Found a Thomas Purvis Ritzema m Lilley Isabella Harper S Shields 1875. In 1876 Thomas Purvis Ritzema was born presumably a son to Thomas and Lilley

• Notes : In the 1851 census Elizabeth Wrightson, George Wrightson and Thomas Wrightson as niece and nephew’s.  Mary Nicholson is at the same address as this family age 76, I do not think this is the Mary Nicholson Joseph married as she is too old to have a six year old child. I think this Mary might be the Grandmother who does not like to admit it.  I am looking into where Cowthrop is and I am going to send for Georges birth certificate as he is the oldest son of Joseph it might tell me where about the family lived.  Although the family seemed to move a lot around the Yorkshire area.
