• Family 1 :  Margaret Donkin (Clensey/Clency)
• MARRIAGE:  16th June 1810  Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
• Notes : When George and Margaret married, Margaret was a Widow with a 10 year old Son named David Donkin
• After the Marriage they settled in Longbenton, in the Ship Inn, nr Newcastle upon Tyne.
• David Donkin married Elizabeth Sheilds
• Found a record for the chris. of Mary Wrightson of Long Benton b 24th Feb 1811 
• Father : George Wrightson ; Mother : Margaret Clensey - Source:  FHL Film 1469110 Dates: 1670 - 1845
• Margaret Clensey could have been Margaret Donkin's maiden name
• I have also found on the LDS site a marriage for a David Duncan & Margaret Clency on the 13th May 1802 at All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne. Presuming that George & Margaret married around 1812 the age of David would match. Cannot find any Donkin's, Duncan being the closest match
